We are currently hiring for a Canada Summer Jobs Position as our Front Desk Administration Assistant.
Note that there are requirements for this program, as outlined below.
Youth Eligibility Requirements
Age: Must be 15–30 years old at the start of employment.
Status: Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection.
Work Authorization: Must have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) and be legally entitled to work in Canada according to provincial/territorial regulations.
Ineligible: International students (those on temporary student/visitor/work visas) are not eligible.

For all job applicants, NUGSS has an Accommodation Policy (this can be found within our policy manual) that provides additional information and support, particularly if you are hired. Applicable pieces of the policy related to the job application process are noted below.
1 - When contacted for an interview, job applicants will be advised that NUGSS has an accommodation policy and asked whether they require accommodation to participate in the hiring process.
2 - The Department Manager will evaluate the job applicant’s request for accommodation and may request more information from the applicant to facilitate the accommodation.
3 - If an accommodation request is denied, the reasons will be clearly communicated to the job applicant.
