The Thirsty Moose Pub opened its doors in 2008 and has been the go-to (and only) place on campus to grab an after-class beer and fill up on moose fries.

Hours for the weeks of April 14 to 24

Saturday, Sunday & Monday - Closed

Tuesday, April 14 & 21, from 11:30 am to 5 pm

Wednesday, April 15 & 22, from 11:30 am to 5 pm

Thursday, April 16 & 23, from 11:30 am to 5 pm

Friday, April 17 & 24, from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm

We are closed after April 24 until May 29 (Convocation Day), where we will open from 11 am to 2:30 pm with a limited menu.

We are closed after Convocation Day until the start of the Fall semester.

The Moose is operated by NUGSS and is located in the NUSC Building, right below our office. SLOs can also host pub nights at the Moose as a fundraising opportunity.

All patrons must present two forms of government-issued identification as proof of legal drinking age.

Proof of legal age is not required to order or pick up take-out items, provided the patron(s) remain in the designated take-out area.

Minors are allowed during regular hours of operation and events that do not offer bar service and end before 10 pm.

If you plan to attend an event, please check the ticket or details before purchasing or arriving at the pub if you are under 19.

Minors must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, stepparent, grandparent, the minor's spouse, or another adult who can reasonably be expected to act in place of a parent and be responsible for the minor's supervision.
