The Thirsty Moose Pub opened its doors in 2008 and has been the go-to (and only) place on campus to grab an after-class beer and fill up on moose fries.

During the exam weeks, we will be open the following hours.

Monday, December 8th - 5 to 7 pm

Tuesday to Friday (9th to 12th) - 11:30 am to 5 pm

Monday, December 15th - 11:30 am to 2 pm

Tuesday & Wednesday (16th & 17th) - 11:30 am to 1:30 pm

Thursday, December 18th - 11:30 am to 4 pm

Friday, December 19th - 11:30 am to 4:30 pm

Open later or on other days for events during the winter semester.

The Moose is operated by NUGSS and is located in the NUSC Building, right below our office. It is also possible for SLOs to host their own pub nights in the Moose as a fundraising opportunity.

All patrons must provide two pieces of government-issued identification for proof of legal drinking age.

Proof of legal age is not required for ordering or picking up take-out items, provided the patron(s) remain in the designated take-out area.

Minors are allowed during regular hours of operation and events that do not offer bar service and end before 10 pm. For any event, please ensure you check the ticket or details before purchasing or arriving at the pub if you are under 19.

Minors must be with a parent, guardian, stepparent, grandparent, the minor's spouse, or another adult who could reasonably be expected to act in place of a parent and be responsible for the minor's supervision.
