The Thirsty Moose Pub opened its doors in 2008 and has been the go-to (and only) place on campus to grab an after-class beer and fill up on moose fries.

Tuesday to Thursday 11:30 am to 6 pm

Friday 11:30 am to 7 pm

The Moose is operated by NUGSS and is located in the NUSC Building, right below our office. It is also possible for SLOs to host their own pub nights in the Moose as a fundraising opportunity.

All patrons must provide two pieces of government-issued identification for proof of legal drinking age.

Proof of legal age requirements is not required for ordering and picking up take-out items, provided the patron(s) stay in the designated take-out area.

Minors are allowed during regular hours of operation and events that do not offer bar service and end before 10 pm. For any event, please ensure you check the ticket or details before purchasing or arriving at the pub if you are under 19.

Minors must be with a parent, guardian, stepparent, grandparent, spouse of the minor or another adult who could reasonably be expected to act in place of a parent and be responsible for supervision of the minor.
