Emergency Financial Aid
NUGSS Emergency Aid fund is available to students in good standing with the Society who demonstrate considerable need in meeting the necessities of life. Emergency Aid can be awarded up to $250 per qualified student per academic year. The fund will be available to students who have exhausted all other avenues within the University.
The first step is to visit the Awards and Financial Aid Office.
Based on your meeting with the Awards and Financial Aid Office, they will refer you to the NUGSS Emergency Financial Aid program. They will provide you with the form to complete and return to their Office. Awards and Financial Aid will forward your completed form to the NUGSS Ombudsperson for review. The NUGSS Ombudsperson will then submit their response to the application to the Awards and Financial Aid Office, who will contact you for next steps.
