The results of the 2026 NUGSS Dental Referendum are now available.

Referendum Question:
Do you approve of the NUGSS Board of Directors having the ability to remove the Dental plan component from the current NUGSS Extended Health and Dental plan if this option provides the largest benefit to the most undergraduate students?

Voting Results:
• Total Votes Cast: 142
• Yes: 66 (46%)
• No: 67 (47%)
• Abstain: 9 (6%)

The referendum did not pass.
The voting link was distributed via the NUGSS President’s email on Monday, April 8. Voting was conducted through Microsoft Forms from April 8 at 9:00 AM to April 10 at 8:00 AM and was sent to the undergraduate NUGSS Society fee-paying student list provided by UNBC IT Services.
